                        A Yagya for piety

Purity is a vision, the seeing of the soul in the body, a holy purpose in flesh
Purity of the soul is one virtue all human beings strive for. A man in search of the lord finds himself nearer to being righteous. A Hawan or Yagya is one such attempt by us mortals to purify our souls.

The ucharana or recitation of Om brings out positive energies from within.

It is one of the ten positive virtues or niyams that is prescribed for the devotee whose aspiration is to draw closer to the Divine, ultimately acquiring Oneness with Him.

Hawan has a purifying effect on both the devotee as well the environment around. Through the chanting of mantras, positive thoughts and energies flow from the body and create an aura of purity all around.

Keeping in mind the purity of one’s body, mind and soul we had the privilege to conduct a yagya for the students. The participation of the students and the teachers created an environment of piety.
